🛒 Ingredients

  • 250g toasted cassava flour (farinha de mandioca crua or torrada)
  • 1 small onion, finely diced.. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup diced carrot,, ½ cup chopped green beans
  • ½ cup diced bell pepper (any colour)
  • 2 tbsp dendê oil (palm oil) or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp vegan butter (optional, for extra richness)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika,, Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped

    Sauté aromatics: Heat oil and vegan butter in a large pan over medium heat. Fry onion until soft, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.

    Cook vegetables: Add carrot, green beans, and bell pepper. Sauté for 5–6 minutes until tender but still crisp.

    Toast & combine: Lower the heat, pour in the cassava flour gradually, stirring constantly for 4–5 minutes until evenly toasted and heated through.

    Season: Add salt, pepper, paprika, and fresh herbs. Stir well and taste — adjust seasoning to your preference.
