Vegan Açaí na Tigela (Açaí Bowl)
Açaí na Tigela is one of Brazil’s most famous and beloved dishes — originating from the Amazon region, it is made with deep purple frozen açaí pulp, known for its rich, earthy, berry‑like flavour and velvety texture. This fully vegan version keeps every bit of the authentic experience: thick, creamy açaí, layered and topped with fresh tropical fruits, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of sweet plant‑based cream or syrup. It is naturally refreshing, packed with nutrients, and perfect for breakfast, a light lunch, or a healthy sweet treat any time of day.

🛒 Ingredients
- #Base;
- 200g frozen unsweetened açaí pulp (or 2–3 frozen açaí packs)
- 1 small frozen banana (sliced beforehand) – helps create creamy texture
- 1–2 tbsp plant milk (oat, almond, or coconut – only if needed to blend)
- #Toppings (Traditional & Vegan);
- Sliced fresh banana
- Fresh strawberries, blueberries, or other berries
- Crunchy vegan granola
- Drizzle of honey‑free syrup: agave, maple, or coconut syrup
- Coconut cream or dairy‑free condensed milk (optional)
- Sprinkle of chia seeds or crushed nuts (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
- 1
Blend the base: Place frozen açaí pulp and frozen banana into a food processor or high‑speed blender. Pulse in short bursts — do not over‑blend, or it will turn into a drink instead of a thick sorbet‑like texture. Add only a tiny splash of plant milk if it gets stuck.
- 2
Scoop: Transfer the thick, creamy mixture into a chilled bowl.
- 3
Top: Arrange banana slices, berries, and granola over the top. Drizzle with your chosen sweet syrup and add coconut cream or extra toppings if you like.
- 4
Serve: Enjoy immediately — it melts quickly!
