🛒 Ingredients
- 4–5 ripe fresh passion fruits
- 300–400 ml cold water or chilled coconut water
- 2–3 tbsp vegan sweetener (sugar, coconut sugar, agave syrup — adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Optional: fresh mint sprigs, a squeeze of lime juice, tiny pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions
- 1
Scoop the fruit: Cut each passion fruit in half and scoop all the pulp, seeds and juice into a bowl or blender.
- 2
Blend briefly: Pulse the pulp with half the water for just a few seconds — this separates the seeds slightly without breaking them, keeping the signature texture.
- 3
Strain or keep: Strain if you prefer no seeds; leave the seeds in for the traditional Brazilian look and crunch.
- 4
Finish: Stir in the remaining water, sweetener, and optional salt or lime. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking.
- 5
Serve: Fill glasses with ice, pour over the juice, garnish with fresh mint or a passion fruit half, and enjoy immediately.
