🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh curly kale, thick stems removed
  • 1 frozen banana,, 1 cup unsweetened plant milk (pea, soy, or oat milk works best)
  • 1–2 tbsp unsweetened or vanilla plant‑based protein powder
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed or hemp seeds
  • ¼ ripe avocado (for extra creaminess and healthy fats)
  • ½ tsp fresh lemon juice (helps balance the flavour)
  • Optional: 1 pitted date or a little maple syrup for extra sweetness
  • Optional: A handful of frozen pineapple for extra sweetness

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1

Pour the plant milk into your blender first, then add the kale, frozen banana, avocado, protein powder, seeds, and lemon juice.

  2. 2

Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy — make sure no leafy bits remain. If it is too thick, add a splash more milk until you reach your preferred consistency.

  3. 3

Taste and add sweetener only if needed; the banana usually gives plenty of natural sweetness.

  4. 4

Pour into a glass and enjoy right away for the best flavour and maximum nutrient value.
