Vegan Sweet Potato Cinnamon
Sweet Potato Cinnamon is a warm, comforting, and richly creamy drink that has become a beloved staple across the USA, especially in autumn and winter. It blends naturally sweet cooked sweet potato with ripe banana, warm aromatic cinnamon, and smooth plant milk for a flavour that feels like a sweet treat while being packed with vitamins and fibre. This version is completely vegan — no dairy, eggs, or honey — and keeps that perfect balance of gentle sweetness and spice that tastes just like homemade pie in a glass.

🛒 Ingredients
- ½ cup cooked, cooled sweet potato (steamed or baked, then frozen works best for thickness)
- 1 ripe frozen banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond, oat, or soy milk
- ½ – 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup or 1 pitted date (optional, for extra sweetness)
- Pinch of nutmeg and a tiny pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 tbsp rolled oats or almond butter for extra creaminess
- Extra cinnamon to sprinkle on top

Add the plant milk to your blender first, followed by the sweet potato, frozen banana, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sweetener if using. Add oats or nut butter if you want it richer.
- 2
Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds until perfectly smooth, thick, and creamy. If it is too thick, add a splash more milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
