Vegan Rosquillas de Maíz
Rosquillas de Maíz is a beloved traditional snack from Honduras, made from fine corn dough shaped into simple rings. It has a firm, slightly crumbly texture and a gentle, natural corn sweetness, perfect for dipping in hot chocolate or coffee. This vegan version keeps all the authentic taste and shape without eggs, dairy, or lard — just as delicious and true to the original recipe.

- 1 tsp baking powder,, Pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp neutral oil
- 120–140ml warm water or plant milk
- Optional: ½ tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions

Pinch off small portions of dough, roll each into a thin log, then join the ends to form neat rings. Arrange them on a lined baking tray.
- 3
Bake for 20–25 minutes until pale golden and firm to the touch — they will crisp up more as they cool.

Let cool completely before serving. Enjoy on their own or dipped in warm chocolate or coffee.
