🛒 Ingredients
- 6 to 8 slices of white bread, remove the crusts and cut into triangles or squares
- 150 grams of horse bean flour
- 3 tablespoons rice flour
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- Two red onions, finely sliced
- Two green chilies, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander leaves, roughly chopped
- A pinch of baking soda and salt to taste
- Enough water
- Sufficient vegetable oil for frying
👩🍳 Instructions
- 1
Prepare a bowl and add the horseradish flour, rice flour, all the ground spices, salt, and baking soda. Stir well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
- 2
Add red onion, green chilies and coriander leaves. Pour water little by little while stirring until it becomes a thick dough that can coat the bread well, don't make it too runny so it doesn't fall off when fried.
- 3
Heat oil over medium heat. Dip the bread slices one by one into the batter until evenly coated.
- 4
Gently drop them into the hot oil, frying a few at a time, but don't overcrowd them. Turn them over and over until they are golden brown and crispy to the touch.
- 5
Remove and drain the oil thoroughly. Serve immediately while still warm with chili sauce or vegetable mint sauce for a crispy sensation and perfect flavor. Your special dish is ready to be enjoyed!
