🛒 Ingredients

  • #Vegetables and accompaniments;
  • One bunch of water spinach, cut and boil briefly
  • 100 grams of bean sprouts, soak in hot water
  • Two potatoes, boiled and diced
  • One carrot, cut into matchsticks and boiled
  • 2 boiled eggs (optional, can be replaced with tempeh/tofu)
  • 150 grams of tempeh, cut and fried until cooked
  • 150 grams of white tofu, cut and fried until cooked
  • Fresh cucumber slices, cabbage, and lettuce leaves
  • Crackers and fried onions as a complement
  • #Peanut sauce:
  • 150 gram kacang tanah goreng matang
  • 5 shallots, 3 cloves of garlic
  • Two lime leaves, remove the middle rib
  • Two curly red chilies (adjust to your taste for spiciness)
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of combed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind water
  • Salt to taste
  • Enough boiled water to thicken
  • Vegetable oil to taste

    Grind the fried peanuts with the shallots, garlic, chilies, and lime leaves.

    Sauté the ground spices in a little oil until fragrant and cooked through. Add the brown sugar, tamarind juice, salt, and a little water. Cook slowly until the spices thicken and become oily, then sauté until the sauce thickens and becomes fragrant.

    Arrange all the tempeh, tofu, and toppings neatly on a plate or bowl.
