🛒 Ingredients

  • #Skin ingredients;
  • 150 grams of white sticky rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • 120 to 130 ml of natural pandan juice
  • A pinch of fine salt
  • #filling ingredients:
  • 100 grams of palm sugar, very finely grated
  • #coating ingredients:
  • 100 grams of semi-ripe grated coconut
  • A pinch of salt
  • One pandan leaf

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1

Mix grated coconut, salt, and pandan leaves, then steam for 5 to 7 minutes to preserve and cook evenly, set aside

  2. 2

Mix the glutinous rice flour, tapioca flour, and salt. Gradually add the pandan water while kneading until the dough is malleable and doesn't stick to your hands.

  3. 3

Take a small amount of dough, roll it into a ball, and then flatten it in your palm. Fill with a generous amount of brown sugar, then seal it tightly and roll it back into a ball to prevent leaking when boiled.

  4. 4

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, add the klepon balls. Cook until they float to the surface. Let them rest for a moment, then remove and drain.

  5. 5

Immediately roll in steamed grated coconut until evenly coated. Serve warm. Your special treat is ready to be enjoyed!
