🛒 Ingredients

  • 150 grams of purple cabbage, very finely sliced
  • One medium carrot, coarsely grated
  • 1/2 white cabbage, finely sliced (optional)
  • One sweet and sour apple, remove the seeds and grate coarsely
  • One tablespoon of raisins/seedless black olives (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley leaves to taste, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar/lime juice
  • One teaspoon of granulated sugar/coconut sugar
  • A little salt and ground black pepper
  • A few sesame seeds or sunflower seeds (for sprinkling)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1

Prepare a large bowl and add the purple cabbage, white cabbage, carrots, apples, and raisins. Stir gently until all ingredients are evenly mixed.

  2. 2

In a separate bowl, combine the dressing ingredients, such as olive oil, apple cider vinegar/lime juice, granulated sugar/coconut sugar, salt, and ground black pepper. Stir until the sugar and salt dissolve and the spices are thoroughly combined.

  3. 3

Pour the sauce over the vegetable mixture, stir well while pressing gently so that the vegetables wilt slightly and the spices are absorbed.

  4. 4

Sprinkle with parsley and seeds. It's best to let it sit in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes before serving to enhance the flavor.
