Peixinhos da Horta Vegan
Peixinhos da Horta is a legendary traditional dish from Portugal whose name means "little fish from the garden". Because its shape and texture resemble small fried fish, but now it is available completely using 100% plant-based ingredients! This dish uses green bean florets or other vegetables coated in a light, crispy batter, then fried until golden and perfectly crispy. Without meat, eggs, or dairy, it's crunchy on the outside, soft and naturally sweet with vegetables on the inside, and goes perfectly with a slice of lemon and a fresh dipping sauce. A simple snack yet full of history and unforgettable deliciousness!
